On August 22, 2009, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” surprised Nikema aka “Tripp” and Tamara Tripp by announcing that their small house, in need of major repairs they can’t afford, will be rebuilt in seven days!

For the “Aurora Energy and Thermo Technologies ” team, along with hundreds of local volunteers, it’s a heartfelt opportunity to give back to a couple who have put the well-being of neighborhood kids ahead of their own living conditions.

Project Financing

We offer financing as a personal loan which can range from $500 to $50,000. The rates are prime plus two or prime plus three, fixed, on terms of 60 months, or 120 months, or 180 mths. No fees are charged. There is no prepay penalty.
You do need to have credit scores above 680 and the ability to repay.

Vacuum Collectors

Vacuum Collectors exhibit higher performance in cold and cloudy conditions. A good design includes a heat rejection unit avoiding over heating in space heating applications especially in summers.
Flat Plate Collectors

Advanced Flat Plate collectors are real workhorses. They offer features such as a selective absorber coating, glass with the highest possible light transfer coefficient, and a very effective insulation around the absorber. The heat transfer pipes are copper.

 
Differential Controllers

Temperature Differential Controllers provide a vital function in every active solar thermal application. Whether controlling a simple two-sensor domestic hot water system or a multi-functional commercial application, a solar controller will guarantee the balance and overall function of any thermal solar system.
Stainless Steel System

The Easyflex Water Line System is a flexible water distribution system made from corrugated stainless steel. The system combines the strength and durability of stainless steel with the flexibility and ease of installation of flexible tubing like PEX.  The tubing features brass fittings with sealing gaskets that allow for simple installation, enhanced corrosion resistance and strength.

Solar Water Heating Packages are pre-engineered system. They consist of major components of a solar water heating system. The installer needs to supply or order pipe and insulation based on the solar loop length.

Solar Energy will be stored while solar resources are available and will be used when it is needed. A well built and insulated solar storage tank reduces standing heat (during the night) losses. Proper storage capacity maintains the balance between energy collected and energy consumption.
